Lana received the prestigious "Sigrid Paskell Award for the Arts"

”Lana Anikina Suran makes music with an individual and personal expression. With her technique and beautiful sound she creates poetry and musical drama. She conveys this in a nuanced way without big gestures to her audience. Soulful, expressive, technically highly exaggerated. Lana plays music with the content and feel - not surface. The jury appreciated this.” — Margaret Sikkens Ahlquist, President
